I took part in preparing and distributing meals for people in need, and organised social and educational activities with children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Social responsibility became far more meaningful to me once it moved from a value on paper into something I could practice with my own hands.
HeForShe Club — Equality School Project · UN Women × Saint Benoît
As an active member of the HeForShe Club at Saint Benoît, established in collaboration with the UN Women global movement, I completed all training sessions over the course of a full academic year. The experience shifted my understanding of gender equality from an abstract principle into a cause that requires concrete advocacy — in everyday life and in the institutions we are part of.
Upcycling Scrunchie Design Workshop

I am pleased to have received a Certificate of Participation for attending the “Upcycling Scrunchie Design Workshop” held on April 09, 2026. This workshop was organized as part of the “Transformation Workshops” social responsibility project, in collaboration between the Istanbul Medeniyet University Sustainability Office and Maltepe Municipality. It was a wonderful opportunity to contribute to environmental awareness and sustainable design.
RePlay: From Waste to Toy

I have successfully completed 40 hours of participation in the “RePlay: From Waste to Toy” social responsibility project, held between February 19 and April 26, 2026. Organized by Istanbul Medeniyet University and supported by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Youth and Sports and Tylman Design, the project focused on recycling and upcycling PET bottles and plastic medical caps collected from hospitals into sustainable toy designs, actively contributing to environmental awareness, circular economy approaches, and social benefit initiatives.
